Vicky + Ryan: Married!
WARNING: There is a LOT of photos in this post. How could I put my camera away when every single detail was so well-thought out, planned so carefully, and just sooooo crazily executed? I was a part of Ryan and Vicky’s wedding – not as a photographer, but a bridesmaid. I can tell you from experience, how much PLANNING this was. And I wasn’t going to put my camera down to NOT to capture it. (Don’t worry! The photographer’s they hired were able to do their job. I only had my camera in hand when they weren’t around.)
I met Vicky in University and she is the most multi-talented person I know. You can check out her amazing work on her site, and of course the details below! I think she caught the wedding bug and hopefully is going to venture into doing event design / props / details / ETC.!!!
The napkins were all sewn by Vicky, different patterns, but all in her colors. Yellow for the girls, grey for the boys.
Her now mother-in-law made all the girls bridesmaid dresses, the boys their ties and pocket squares…and of course, Jonah’s (Vicky and Ryan’s dog) their bow-tie. The guys suits? Thanks to our mutual pal Chris who just started his own menswear service!
There were hand painted signs on salvaged barn board from Ryan’s grandfather’s barn. That same wood? The boys made a bar out of as well. And a podium. And benches for the lounge area.
Chicken feeders were used as plant stands. Milk pails as hanging lights.
In the middle of everything? A tree with hundreds of little flowers glued on, and if you looked close enough, you would see two little love birds…sitting in a tree. I’m sure you know the rest of THAT song…
How about I stop my typing yammering, because I could go on and let’s get to the photos:

Vicky’s Grandmother’s engagement ring was sewn into her wedding gown secretly by her mom. She didn’t know it until her mom gave her speech that night…soooo super sweet and touching!

Uhm. Keyholes on the bottom of these amazing heels? Awesome.

Thanks for being the greatest pals a girl could ask for. AMAZING. WEDDING!! xoxo

In all seriousness tho Sara. I really feel honored to catch a glimpse of your talent.
