A look back… 2012
I’ve probably written this post hundreds of times this past week. Trying to figure out what to say, the right way to say it, etc.
My hubster usually tells me to just open up my heart, let it flow, just WRITE. So here I am, opening up my heart about 2012. My look back on a crazy, crazy year.
This was technically my first year in the business. Last year was about second shooting, classes, workshops and struggling to find me as a person and a photographer. And this year? This year was JUST the beginning to something amazing.
I found out there really is only one ME. One person that will play the role of Austin Powers to make your mother laugh. To run out and dig through dirt to find a lost vintage brooch. To trek through 3 feet of snow to find THAT. MAGICAL. PLACE. To just hug YOU, because you really were happy with ME…without even seeing a single photo. I got to travel to Mexico, to a cottage on an little island of it’s own, to many farms and to my own backyard. I was able to second shoot and grow with some amazing photographers and some amazingly talented vendors, and have been featured on crazy inspiring blogs!
So…
Thank you to my awesome crazy network of fellow photogs that just continues to grow, educate and always inspire.
Thank you to my family and friends for following me and supporting me on this whirlwind of a year. If it wasn’t for your understanding, I honestly don’t know how I would have survived.
Thank you to my hubster. Seriously? I lorve you. You are forever my rock.
And of course, thank you to ALL my clients for entrusting me with all of your special little moments. The happiness. The laughter. The love.
Bring it, 2013. Bring it.

Happy New Year everyone!!
xoxo
